How long does the treatment take?
Intramuscular vitamin injections take just a few minutes. IV vitamin drips can take up to 60 minutes.
When will I see the benefits?
Some people feel the effects immediately however, this varies. We do not make any long-term health benefit claims with our infusions however it is common sense that a drug given straight into your blood will be better absorbed than any "over-the-counter" tablet.
What is the evidence for IVNT?
The benefits of IVNT are primarily based on anecdotal evidence - where people who have had these treatments describe the benefits they have personally experienced.
As a result, some doctors have raised concerns that there are relatively few well-designed clinical trials to support any claims for the benefits of IV vitamins.
However, this applies to many other treatments, and even well-conducted ones have been shown down the line to be flawed, including paracetamol.
There are some very clear contra-indications for specific vitamins in certain people, which is why you will be asked to complete a complete and thorough Medical questionnaire when you book.
