Moisturisers

Moisturisers should be applied morning and night.

Moisturisers used for pigmentation can contain anti-inflammatory ingredients but should not contain retinoids which are used seperately.

Moisturisers help increase the effectivenss of other skin lightening ingredients and can be used to reduce and treat irritation.

Oily skin

Use a moisturiser with hyaluronic acid without barrier repair ingredients.

If you have very oily skin, the moisturiser can be omitted.

Dry skin

Use a moisturiser with barrier repair with unsaturated fatty acids to decrease pigment formation, such as linoleic acid.

Linoliec acid has been shown to directly inhibit the pigment prodcuing enzyme, tyrosinase.
