What are chemical peels?
Chemical peels are an effective way to exfoliate the skin and stimulate skin remodelling. They are designed for the treatment of age and sun-related skin damage. Modern formulated peels are an excellent treatment to improve facial wrinkles, areas of pigmentation, and certain types of acne. Depending on the skin problem, peels can be specifically tailored and are suitable for many conditions.
The procedure and products we use
Rejuvenate Face is proud to be an accredited clinic for the Enerpeel® range of products. Different Enerpeel® systems contain specific ingredient combinations to target the active treatment components to each individual skin condition.
A course of at least 3 chemical peels is recommended 4-6 weeks apart.
Depth of peels of superficial, light and medium.
We use Enerpeel ® as this offers a complete program of clinically proven peels designed to perform various types of chemical exfoliation at various skin depths, to exfoliate and stimulate dermal remodelling.
Types of peels
We offer a wide range of peels, including, Enerpeel, Neostrata, Medik8, Mesosestetic and Cosmed each one unique and targeted for all skin types and conditions.
Depending on the condition and concerns of your skin and the type of peel selected (superficial or light) will depend on when you notice a difference.
For example, if your skin is in good condition and you are wanting a peel for rejuvenating purposes, a superficial peel can immediately make your skin look brighter, tighter and glowing with radiance. However, if you have acne skin or hyper-pigmentation, then a course of peels will be recommended as these conditions are harder to treat and you are advised to have a progressive treatment plan for best results.
We also offer Cosmed Derma peel which can be combined with a derma planing treatment for that added WOW factor!
Certain peels can be combined with other treatments such as Dermaplaning and Microneedling and subject to a full consultation.
